Special Needs Support Services

SEN ACTIVITY AND THERAPHY

One to One sessions

One-to-one sessions provide individualized, focused interactions between a person and a trained professional or caregiver, often utilized to deliver academic support and psychological support for individuals with special needs, such as those with autism, ADHD, or other developmental and behavioral challenges. These sessions allow for personalized attention, tailored strategies, and specific goals that can address the unique needs of the individual, including the incorporation of sensory activities and occupational therapy.

Occupational Therapy

We provide child-centred occupational therapy to help children develop the skills they need for daily life at home and school. Our therapists offer academic support by working one to one in sessions that address sensory processing difficulties, coordination and motor skill challenges, attention and behaviour needs, developmental delays, and autism-related needs.

Our sessions focus on sensory activities, sensory integration, play-based activities, motor development, and strategies that improve learning and participation, along with psychological support to enhance overall well-being.

Sensory Activities

Our sensory activities are designed to provide children with the academic support they need to regulate their bodies, improve focus, and develop essential motor and emotional skills. Through structured play and sensory-rich experiences, we also offer psychological support for children who may face challenges with sensory processing, attention, or behavior. Additionally, our occupational therapy approach includes one to one sessions tailored to each child's needs. We provide a variety of activities such as: Sensory circuits, deep pressure and calming exercises, tactile play (sand, water, textures), movement-based activities (swings, balance equipment), and fine motor and hand-strengthening tasks.

Sports Activities

Sport activities for individuals with special needs can indeed have a profound impact on their physical, social, and emotional well-being. By providing tailored, inclusive, and supportive environments, these activities can help build confidence, improve coordination, and promote social interactions. Additionally, incorporating sensory activities and offering one to one sessions can enhance their experience, while academic support and occupational therapy can further contribute to their overall development and psychological support.

Play Activities

Play activities are essential for individuals with special needs, including those with Autism or ADHD, as they promote socialization, creativity, and motor skills development while also supporting emotional well-being. These activities can be enhanced through academic support and occupational therapy, particularly during one to one sessions. Additionally, incorporating sensory activities can provide crucial psychological support, helping individuals thrive.

Family Support

Family support is essential for individuals with special needs, as it plays a crucial role in their well-being, development, and overall quality of life. For families of individuals with autism, ADHD, or other special needs, having the right resources, such as academic support, occupational therapy, and access to one to one sessions, can make a significant difference. Additionally, incorporating psychological support and sensory activities into their routines can greatly enhance their development and quality of life.

Academic Support

We provide personalised academic support to help children reach their full learning potential. Our programs focus on building core skills in reading, writing, maths, and study strategies, complemented by sensory activities that enhance learning experiences.

We work closely with families and schools to create tailored plans that include one to one sessions, ensuring each child receives the guidance they need to succeed academically. Additionally, we offer psychological support and occupational therapy to help children feel confident in their abilities.

Psychological Support

We provide psychological support to help children manage emotions, cope with stress, and build resilience through various methods, including academic support and one to one sessions. Our approach incorporates individual counselling, emotional regulation strategies, and occupational therapy, along with guidance for families. By collaborating closely with children, parents, and schools, we aim to create a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive emotionally and socially, engaging in sensory activities that promote well-being.

Art Activities

Our art activities provide academic support by fostering creativity, self-expression, and emotional development in children. Through drawing, painting, and crafting, children can explore their imagination, build confidence, and enhance fine motor skills, which aligns with the principles of occupational therapy. These sensory activities also promote social interaction and teamwork, helping children develop essential communication and collaboration skills during one-to-one sessions, while also receiving psychological support.
